Innovation Think Tanks is the name of a Maris Strategies programme of facilitated workshops or think tanks on various topics of banking, finance and the economy. The main goal of these think tanks is to bring together government, private sector and individuals representing the social structure to address a specific issue. Using Maris Strategies' Rapid Cycle Strategy methodology, these facilitated think tanks consist of pre-think tank research, think tank working activities, post-think tank report and follow up. Each programme or think tank can be developed as a stand alone or as part of a wider initiative.
As part of a pre-researched workshop programme, Innovation Think Tanks can be created to address any socio-economic issues within any given society. The important element of the programme is that instead of providing a series of lectures in a conference-like model, or bring together individuals of similar backgrounds to discuss a problem (for example, academics, or employees in the finance sector, and so on), these think tanks look to the population to come up with solutions for its own problems. An organic programme compiled with the Rapid Cycle Strategy creates a uniquely perspective which is ahead of all research done by one or more isolated interested groups.
